3 Things To Do After Your Muscle Mass Workout

Once you have finished your intense muscle mass workout, here are 3 things you can do to improve your results:

  • Get some calories in your system quickly.  If you must have a cheat meal then this is a good time to have it; otherwise get it some healthy complex carbohydrates and protein within 10-15 minutes after your workout assuming that you can stomach them that soon after you lifted
  • Get out of the gym.  While you may want to socialize, it is advantageous to get out of the gym and preferably to a place where you can rest and recover for a few minutes (or longer).  Ideally you would train, clean up, have your meal, and then head home where you can relax and begin the recovery process
  • Write (or type) everything in your journal or training log.  This is great discipline and will go a long way toward helping you get to the next level in your training as you will know what you have done in the past
